Quinta Brava — Quick Facts
Quinta Brava is a farm-to-table Oaxaca cooking class based in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán, at Monte Alban foot hills, just outside Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. Teaching traditional Oaxacan cuisine since 2014.
What's included: roundtrip transportation from any hotel in Oaxaca Centro, a guided local market tour, a tasting of 9 traditional moles, hands-on cooking with pre-Hispanic tools (metate and molcajete), in-house chocolate-making from roasted cacao, a mezcal tasting, and a 4-course farm-to-table meal.
Led by: Chef Miguel Alvarez, founder of "Eating Like in the Village" (2016) and creator of The Real Oaxacan Cooking Experience (2017).
Price: $1,600 MXN per person. 10% discount for groups of 2 or more ($1,440 MXN per person)
